ELIZABETH TOON CHARITIES DONATES $10,000 FROM ANNUAL EVENT TO CHILD STUDY CENTER
FORT WORTH, TX – August 7, 2015 – On Wednesday, Elizabeth Toon Charities presented Child Study Center with a check for $10,000 to benefit Child Study Center’s Child Development Clinic. Elizabeth Toon Charities is founded on the principles of faith, hope and love. They support organizations that “provide education, assistance, comfort and therapy to those who have been impacted by abuse, grief, poverty, disabilities and terminal illnesses.”
Child Study Center was chosen as a beneficiary of their 9th Annual Elizabeth Toon Charities Concert & Shootout, which took place in May. Last year’s event raised $533,091, with 1,700 people attending the concert followed by more than 400 shooters at the Dallas Gun Club.
“We love Child Study Center!” says Carolyn Cross, Director at Elizabeth Toon Charities. “Elizabeth Toon Charities is proud to support The Child Development Clinic and appreciates the support and care they give children experiencing delays in our community.”
Child Study Center will utilize this check to help fund their Child Development Clinic, a multidisciplinary clinic which provides free-of-charge diagnosis and testing for Medicaid and uninsured patients to help bridge the gap for children who would otherwise have no access to these services.
